SUMMARY:

Claims; Garris, Ulma S. Provides $30,500.00 in relief for Ulma S. Garris, a former science teacher at the James E. Mallonee School in Hopewell, injured as the result of a fall in her classroom in 1976. Mrs. Garris receives payments from the Virginia Retirement System based on a 1977 finding that her disability is based on an injury that is not work-related. Mrs. Garris would have received a larger monthly sum from the VRS if there had been a determination that Mrs. Garris suffered a work-related injury.
