HOUSE BILL NO. 987 AMENDMENT IN THE NATURE OF A SUBSTITUTE (Proposed by the Senate Committee on Education and Health on February 29, 1996) (Patron Prior to Substitute--Delegate Hall) A BILL to relating to local community college boards service delivery boundaries.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia:

1. § 1. Local community college boards' service delivery boundaries.

B. Any such action shall be effective one biennium budget cycle after being taken; however, any such action taken by a governing body served by more than one community college prior to January 1, 1996, shall be deemed to be effective on the date the action was so taken.

C. This act shall expire on July 1, 1997.
