Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia:

1. That the Code of Virginia is amended and by adding a section numbered § 65.2-813.1 as follows:

65.2-813.1. Insurers required to offer small-deductible policies. Every insurer against liability arising under this title shall offer and make available policies in which the insured pays for the first $1,000 payable under the policy during the policy period.
