SUMMARY AS INTRODUCED:
Long-term care insurance provided by the Commonwealth. Clarifies that only employees participating in the Virginia Sickness and Disability Program are to benefit from long-term care insurance paid for by the Commonwealth for state employees. The bill also provides that the long-term care insurance program is to include provisions under which a person may purchase continuing coverage if he ceases to participate in the Virginia Sickness and Disability Program.
