SUMMARY AS INTRODUCED:

Board for Contractors.  Provides for the Board for Contractors to extend to July 1, 2009, the time for compliance with the elevator mechanic certification requirements for individuals who install, service, or repair chairlifts or other vertical conveyances intended for residential use only.  The bill has an emergency clause.
