HB 2618 Labor and industry; posting of notice of right to work laws.
Introduced by: Allen W. Dudley | all patrons ... notes | add to my profiles
SUMMARY:
Labor and industry; Posting of notice of right to work laws. Requires the Department of Labor and Industry to prepare and make available for distribution a poster describing in substantial form the "right to work" laws of the Commonwealth. All employers with four or more employees who are subject to a collective bargaining agreement may display the poster in a conspicuous location in the workplace. The Department is also required to prepare and make available for distribution a poster that recites in its entirety the provisions of state law allowing state employees to form associations for the purpose of promoting their interest before the employing agency and all state and local governmental agencies must display this poster in a conspicuous location in the workplace. This bill does not require a state, county or municipal government to recognize any labor union or other association as a bargaining agent with respect to any matter relating to employment or service.
