SUMMARY:
Department of Criminal Justice Services; waiver of compulsory training. Provides that any person who engaged in the business of private investigation before 1976 and has continued to be a private investigator since that time shall be entitled to apply for and secure a license or registration to engage in the private security services business from the Department of Criminal Justice Services. The bill also provides that any person meeting these requirements must apply to the Department on or before September 1, 1995, in order to obtain the waiver.
