SUMMARY AS PASSED SENATE: (all summaries)
Assistive Technology Loan Fund Authority. Provides that the Authority is under the Secretary of Health and Human Resources and specifies that the Board of Directors of the Authority is responsible for appointing an executive director who is subordinate to the Board and for ensuring that the executive director complies with all statutory, regulatory and Board directives. The bill also provides that the Board's annual report shall include any loan fund or loan guarantee that the Authority administers or manages and requires the Auditor of Public Accounts to annually audit the Authority and its loan funds. This bill is identical to HB 849.
