State and Local Government Conflict of Interests Act; General Assembly Conflicts of Interests Act; prohibited contracts; exceptions. Increases from $500 to $5,000 the value of a contract for the purchase of goods or services that a state officer or employee or a member of the General Assembly may have with his governmental agency or another governmental agency without being considered to have a prohibited interest in a contract.
