SUMMARY AS PASSED:

State employees transferred to local health departments; continuation of benefits. Provides that persons transferred from state employment to city employment as a result of a contract between the City of Richmond and the State Board of Health will receive state retirement health benefits.

State employees transferred to local health departments; continuation of benefits. Provides that persons transferred from state employment to city employment as a result of a contract between the City of Richmond and the State Board of Health will receive state retirement health benefits. The bill also provides that state benefit coverage will continue to apply if the person, after the transfer, subsequently becomes employed by another agency of the city. Richmond is identified by population perimeters.
