SUMMARY AS INTRODUCED:
Claims; Hyder, Lowe & Galston. Provides for the payment of $2,015.90 to theHyder, Lowe & Galston law firm for unreimbursed expenses the law firm incurred to defend an out-of-state lawsuit. The law firm and a member of the law firm were defendants in the suit filed in the State of Washington which involved the firm member’s actions as guardian ad litem for a minor child. The suit was dismissed for lack of jurisdiction, improper venue and insufficient process. While the litigation expenses of the firm member were reimbursed by the Division of Risk Management, the expenses for the firm were not.
