Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia:

1. That the Code of Virginia is amended by adding a section 52-4.5 numbered as follows:

§ 52-4.5. Regional multi-jurisdictional law-enforcement drug task forces; supervision.

The Superintendent of State Police or his designee shall have supervisory authority over the members of any regional multi-jurisdictional law-enforcement drug task force when such members are operating outside of the jurisdiction from which they were appointed.
