SUMMARY:

Chemically sensitive persons; registry created; notice of use of pesticides. Creates a registry, maintained by the Pesticide Control Board, of all persons who have requested in writing that they desire 48 hours' notification of an application of a pesticide within a one-half mile radius of their residential property. The bill requires commercial applicators of pesticides to notify such persons in writing or by direct telephone contact, and provides for damages of $100 for violations. The bill also requires a landlord to identify the type of pesticide being applied to dwelling units and to post conspicuous signs on the front door of the buildings where the pesticides are being applied disclosing that fact. The bill contains technical amendments.
