SUMMARY:

Study; Federal Block Grant Programs. Continues the Commission on Federal Block Grant Programs established by the 1996 Session of the General Assembly to provide legislative oversight of any proposed amendments to the TANF state plan and serve as a forum for public discussion, information, and analysis concerning any future consolidation of federal categorical aid programs. The Secretary of Health and Human Resources shall inform the Chair at least 30 days prior to requesting any amendment to the VIP/VIEW waiver or TANF State Plan.
