SUMMARY:
Unemployment compensation; weekly benefit amount. Indexes the maximum unemployment compensation weekly benefit amount to 45 percent of the average weekly wage of the Commonwealth. The bill provides that the average weekly wage would be calculated on March 31 of each year and the resulting figure applied to claims filed during the following calendar year.
