SUMMARY:
Constitutional amendment (first resolution); taxable property; uniformity. Amends the Constitution of Virginia to permit different rates of taxation on real and personal property located within certain business or industrial enterprise areas, as may be defined by general law. The provision is designed to be applicable to the present Enterprise Zone Act ( § 59.1-270 et seq.).
