SUMMARY:
Virginia Charitable Gaming Commission. Abolishes the Virginia Charitable Gaming Commission and restores the administration and enforcement of charitable gaming laws to local governing bodies. Effective July 1, 1996, administration and enforcement of charitable gaming was transferred from local governing bodies to the Charitable Gaming Commission. The bill contains several technical amendments to accomplish this.
