SUMMARY:

Notice of charges absent a grievance procedure for deputy sheriffs. Provides that, in a case where a deputy sheriff has no formal grievance procedure available to him, the sheriff is obligated to inform the deputy in writing of the charges and to give the deputy an opportunity to respond before any action is taken against him.
