SUMMARY:
Court books and records in need of repair. Allows the circuit court clerk the same authority as the judge, if so designated by the judge, to determine when books or records of the court are in need of repair, whether the books should be taken from the clerk's office to be repaired, etc, and to certify the costs of such repair to the local governing body. The bill also recognizes the use of imaging technology by allowing books or records to be digitally reproduced.
