SUMMARY:
Altering photographs or films in campaign advertisements to misrepresent candidates for public office. Makes it a Class 5 felony to knowingly and willfully authorize the alteration of, or alter, a photograph or film for use in a campaign advertisement to convey false information about a candidate for public office. The advertisement must be published by, or offered for publication to, a news service, newspaper, magazine, television station, or cable service.
