SUMMARY:

Council on Information Management; geographic information. Creates the Virginia Geographic Information Network Division and the Geographic Information Network Advisory Board within the Council on Information Management. The Division is charged to foster the creative utilization of geographic information and oversee the development of a catalog of GIS data available in the Commonwealth. The Board is charged to advise the Division on issues related to the Division's duties.
