SUMMARY:
Public assistance; Virginia Independence Program. Provides that any individual who is enrolled full time in and making satisfactory progress toward completion of a job training or educational program designed to result in self-sufficiency is exempt from the work requirement and two-year time limit on the receipt of aid to families with dependent children.
