SUMMARY:
Neighborhood assistance tax credit. Continues the neighborhood assistance tax credit cap of $5,250,000 through June 30, 1998. Currently, the cap is scheduled to increase to eight million from July 1, 1996, through 1998; by this bill, this is now extended from 1998 to the year 2000. Effective July 1, 1998, the definition of impoverished area will conform to the definition used in the Enterprise Zone Act.
