SUMMARY:
Freedom of Information Act; exemption. Exempts the records of law-enforcement agencies to the extent that such records contain specific tactical plans, the disclosure of which would jeopardize the safety or security of law-enforcement personnel or the general public; engineering plans, architectural drawings, or operational specifications of governmental law-enforcement facilities including, but not limited to, courthouses, jails, and detention facilities, to the extent that disclosure could jeopardize the safety or security of law-enforcement offices; however, general descriptions shall be provided to the public upon request. The bill contains an emergency clause.
