SUMMARY:
Virginia taxable income of residents; subtraction for Bosnia military service pay. Allows, beginning in taxable year 1995, a subtraction in computing Virginia taxable income of residents for military service pay and allowances earned while serving in or above the former Yugoslavia in Operation JOINT ENDEAVOR as part of the NATO Peace Keeping Force. Such subtraction shall be allowed for pay received until the taxpayer completes such service. In addition, extensions for filing the tax returns and provisions for estimated tax payments, penalty, interest and additions to tax, as well as enforcement provisions, are included. The bill has an emergency clause.
