SUMMARY:
Tax credit for purchase of advanced technology pesticide and fertilizer application equipment. Allows taxpayers to qualify for a tax credit for the purchase of advanced technology pesticide and fertilizer application equipment if their nutrient management plan is approved by the local Soil and Water Conservation District prior to the required tax return filing date. Currently, the nutrient management plan must be approved in the year in which the equipment is purchased. The bill also adds "starter fertilizer banding attachments for planters" to the list of equipment categories.
