SUMMARY:
Department of General Services; conveyance of interests in state property. Authorizes the sale, lease or other conveyance of state-owned property to political subdivisions or companies providing electronic communication services for the purpose of erecting, operating or maintaining communication towers, antennae, or other service distribution devices. The bill also authorizes the Director of DGS to set the price for any such conveyance and authorizes shared use of such facilities with political subdivisions, companies, and agencies of the Commonwealth. The bill contains an emergency clause.
