Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia:

1. That the Code of Virginia is amended by adding in Chapter 1 of Title 15.1 a section numbered 15.1-37.3:15 as follows:

§ 15.1-37.3:15. Drug and alcohol testing for members of governing body.

Any county, city or town may by ordinance provide for a mandatory drug and alcohol testing procedure for members of its governing body.
