VIRGINIA ACTS OF ASSEMBLY -- CHAPTER An Act to prohibit trapping in certain areas in the City of Virginia Beach. [H 397] Approved

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia:

1. § 1. That there shall be a closed season for trapping of fur-bearing animals within 300 yards of First Landing/Seashore State Park and the Virginia Marine Science Museum in the City of Virginia Beach. This closure will not prohibit trapping for scientific research, health or public safety purposes by employees or agents of the Commonwealth or the City of Virginia Beach nor prohibit private landowners or their designated agent from trapping nuisance animals.
