SUMMARY:

Rescue Squads Assistance Fund. Establishes a seven-member financial assistance review committee, four members to be appointed by the Virginia Association of Volunteer Rescue Squads and three members to be appointed by the State Emergency Medical Services Advisory Board from among its members. The committee will make recommendations to the Commissioner of Health on the disbursement and expenditure of the Rescue Squads Assistance Fund moneys.
