SUMMARY:
Fraudulent tax return. Creates a Class 6 felony applicable to persons who willfully file false and fraudulent tax returns. Tax return preparation schemes have surfaced in the past several years, and the perpetrators of such schemes, when apprehended, faced only misdemeanor charges under Virginia's laws.
