SUMMARY:
Authority to control dangerous or vicious dogs. Authorizes the governing body of Patrick County to enact an ordinance regulating dangerous or vicious dogs. Only specified cities or counties are authorized to adopt such an ordinance. The bill also resolves an inconsistency with the existing general enabling law to provide that the governing bodies of all local governments are not authorized to enact ordinances regulating dangerous or vicious dogs.
