SUMMARY:
Certificates of public need; moratorium on nursing facilities. Provides an exception to the moratorium on nursing home construction for a continuing care facility in the City of Suffolk. The exception applies to a facility registered with the State Corporation Commission on January 1, 1995, operated by a nonprofit, church-related organization, which agrees to confine its admissions to private-pay and continuing care clients and which will not accept Medicaid patients.
