SUMMARY:
Juvenile court hearings open to public. Provides that the general public shall not be excluded from juvenile court hearings. Currently, the general public is excluded from all juvenile court hearings, and only such persons are admitted as the judge deems proper, except that if any hearing is held for the purpose of adjudicating an alleged violation of any criminal law or a law defining a traffic infraction, the child or adult so charged has a right to be present and has a right to a public hearing unless that person expressly waives the right.
