SUMMARY:
Multi-jurisdiction grand juries. Allows the court to appoint a member of the regular grand jury to serve on the multi-jurisdiction grand jury in the event a member of the multi-jurisdiction grand jury cannot serve. The bill also allows the Commonwealth to introduce the full transcript of the testimony of a multi-jurisdiction grand jury witness at the trial of that witness in a subsequent prosecution for perjured grand jury testimony.
