SUMMARY:
Tax credit. Creates a tax credit for employers who hire "displaced defense workers," as certified by the VEC. Among other things, the hiring must represent an increase in employment for the employer and must be for a full-time job as defined. The credit is equal to one-half of the employee's first year salary actually paid.
