RESOLVED by the Senate, the House of Delegates concurring, That the General Assembly confirm the following interim appointments of certain agency personnel made by Governor George Allen and communicated to the General Assembly by his letter dated January 6, 1995:

Walter A. McFarlane, Monroe Building, 7th Floor, 101 North 14th Street, Richmond, Virginia 23219, Superintendent of Schools, Department of Correctional Education, effective November 4, 1994, to serve at the pleasure of the Governor, to succeed himself.

M. Bruce Meadows, 903 North Hamilton Street, Richmond, Virginia 23221, Secretary, State Board of Elections, effective February 1, 1995, to serve for a term of four years, ending January 31, 1999, to succeed Michael G. Brown.
