1995 SESSION
WHEREAS, on Sunday, October 2, 1994, Susan Elizabeth Robinson won the title of Miss Virginia-USA 1995; and
WHEREAS, a resident of Lynchburg, Susan Robinson, a 1991 Virginia Cherry Blossom Princess, finished as second runner-up in the 1993 Miss Virginia-USA pageant; and
WHEREAS, long active in a wide variety of activities in high school and college, the new Miss Virginia-USA is a senior and Dean's List government major at Liberty University who plans a career in politics, including future service in the General Assembly; and
WHEREAS, as winner of the Virginia pageant, Susan Robinson will represent the Commonwealth at the Miss USA pageant in South Padre Island, Texas, in February 1995; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED by the House of Delegates, the Senate concurring, That the General Assembly commend and congratulate Susan Elizabeth Robinson on being crowned Miss Virginia-USA for 1995; and, be it
RESOLVED FURTHER, That the Clerk of the House of Delegates prepare a copy of this resolution for presentation to Susan Elizabeth Robinson as an expression of the General Assembly's congratulations and best wishes for continued success at the Miss USA pageant.
