Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia:

1. § 1. That the Commonwealth shall pay the cost of wheelchairs, including motorized wheelchairs, and related appliances and equipment for any “law-enforcement officer” as defined in § 9-169 who is disabled by accident while in the line of duty.
