HOUSE BILL NO. 1756 AMENDMENT IN THE NATURE OF A SUBSTITUTE (Proposed by the House Committee for Courts of Justice on February 1, 1995) (Patron Prior to Substitute--Delegate Diamonstein) A Bill to repeal the second enactment of Chapter 615 of the Acts of Assembly of 1992, relating to consolidation and bifurcation of asbestos cases.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia:

1. That the second enactment of Chapter 615 of the Acts of Assembly of 1992 is repealed.

2. That an emergency exists and this act shall become effective June 30, 1995.
