SUMMARY:

County of Augusta and others; operation of steam excursion train. Authorizes the governing body of Augusta County by contract, agreement, ordinance or otherwise, either alone or in concert with any other political subdivision of the Commonwealth, governmental agency or instrumentality, to provide for the operation of a steam excursion train. Such governing body may hire staff and do any other thing otherwise necessary to carry out such powers including the acquisition of insurance coverage and pooling of liability with other agencies, instrumentalities or political subdivisions.
