SUMMARY:
Sales and use tax exemption. Extends the sunset date from June 30, 1994, to June 30, 1998, for organizations offering social services, such as transitional housing for homeless individuals, employment counseling, placement and referral services to persons in financial need, child care for children whose parents are either employed or enrolled in job training programs, and emergency assistance to persons in financial need who may face eviction or termination of utility services.
