SB 22 Alexandria City charter.

SUMMARY:

Alexandria; City. Amends the city's charter to allow the council to initiate amendments of the master plan. If the planning commission disapproves the proposed amendment, the council may overrule the commission with an affirmative vote of not less than six members. The bill also creates a uniform public notice requirement applicable to all city planning and zoning matters.
