SUMMARY:

Conservation; Virginia Historic Preservation Foundation. Designates the Historic Preservation Revolving Fund as a special nonreverting trust fund. The bill provides that the fund shall include such funds as may be appropriated by the General Assembly, gifts, bequests, and all proceeds from the resale of properties, income, interest, dividends, and appreciation accruing thereto. The bill also authorizes the Foundation to sell, exchange, or otherwise dispose of such money, securities or other property given to it in furtherance of its objectives. Currently, interest accrued on the fund is deposited in the general fund.
