SUMMARY:

Firearms prohibition. Makes any person convicted of any assault and battery against a family member under § 18.2-57.2 or who is under a restraining order in connection with a prosecution under that section, ineligible to purchase or possess a firearm. A violation is punishable as a Class 6 felony.
