Introduced by: Clarence E. Phillips | all patrons ... notes | add to my profiles
SUMMARY:
Board of Health requirements for public water supplies. Prohibits the Board of Health from requiring that waterworks owners maintain or retain, as staff, at least one professional engineer with at least two years' experience in the design and construction of water distribution systems. Waterworks operators would not be required to hire engineers licensed as professional engineers until the year 2010. This provision overrides a Board regulation.
