VIRGINIA ACTS OF ASSEMBLY -- CHAPTER An Act to direct the Department of Medical Assistance Services to convene a work group to study and make recommendations to improve access to and successful utilization of the Medicaid Works program. [S 59] Approved

 

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia:

1. § 1. That the Department of Medical Assistance Services shall convene a work group of relevant stakeholders to study and make recommendations to improve access to and successful utilization of the federal Medicaid Works program. The work group shall report its findings and recommendations to the Chairmen of the House Committees on Appropriations and Health and Human Services and the Senate Committees on Education and Health and Finance and Appropriations by November 1, 2024.
