HOUSE RESOLUTION NO. 424 Offered March 7, 2024 Commending the Republic of Ghana. ---------- Patron-- Mundon King ----------

WHEREAS, as of 2024, the Republic of Ghana has reached significant milestones in sustainable development, economic growth, health care improvement, and educational reform; and

WHEREAS, Ghana’s visionary approach to these challenges and commitment to enhancing renewable energy, boosting digital literacy, and improving health care access have set precedents for other nations to follow; and

WHEREAS, Ghana’s inclusive framework considers the needs of all segments of society, including marginalized and vulnerable groups, and its emphasis on public-private partnerships, community engagement, and international collaboration demonstrates a forward-thinking strategy that leverages collective strengths for the greater good; and

WHEREAS, Ghana’s work to enhance environmental protection, digital infrastructure, and public health aligns with global efforts toward achieving sustainable development goals and underscores Ghana’s leadership role on the international stage; now, therefore, be it

RESOLVED by the House of Delegates, That the Republic of Ghana hereby be commended for its achievements in sustainable development, economic growth, health care, and education; and, be it

RESOLVED FURTHER, That the Clerk of the House of Delegates prepare a copy of this resolution for presentation to the Republic of Ghana as an expression of the House of Delegates’ admiration for Ghana’s commitment to international leadership.
