HOUSE RESOLUTION NO. 242 Offered February 27, 2024 Commending Zeiders Enterprises. ---------- Patron-- Sewell ----------

WHEREAS, Zeiders Enterprises, a distinguished government contractor based out of Woodbridge dedicated to providing human services solutions to military and veteran communities, celebrates its 40th anniversary in 2024; and

WHEREAS, Zeiders Enterprises was founded in 1984 by Michael Zeiders, a graduate of the United States Naval Academy, who started the company with a vision for providing exceptional and impactful services to improve the quality of life for veterans, members of the military, and their spouses and families; and

WHEREAS, Zeiders Enterprises specializes in delivering a variety of long-term solutions to meet the management, program, and workforce needs of its customers, including behavioral health services, career services, human performance services, and more; and

WHEREAS, Zeiders Enterprises has grown impressively over the years and today employs approximately 1,300 specialists who serve at military sites and other locations around the world; and

WHEREAS, Zeiders Enterprises ably fulfills its purpose of bringing people together while exuding the enthusiasm and skill needed to create new and innovative solutions for the military and veteran communities it serves; and

WHEREAS, Zeiders Enterprises is an active partner in the Prince William County community and has served as a Quality of Life Vision Partner with the Prince William Chamber of Commerce; and

WHEREAS, Zeiders Enterprises’ accomplishments over the past four decades are the result of the leadership and guidance of its founder and the tireless efforts of its staff, making a meaningful and lasting difference in the lives of countless veterans, members of the military, and their families; now, therefore, be it

RESOLVED by the House of Delegates, That Zeiders Enterprises hereby be commended on the occasion of its 40th anniversary; and, be it

RESOLVED FURTHER, That the Clerk of the House of Delegates prepare a copy of this resolution for presentation to Zeiders Enterprises as an expression of the House of Delegates’ admiration for the organization’s history and its contributions to veteran and military families in the Commonwealth.
