Commending Chief Master Sergeant Trevor C. Ball, VANG.

WHEREAS, Chief Master Sergeant Trevor C. Ball, VANG, will retire in 2024 following 32 years of military service, including 28 years with the Virginia Air National Guard; and

WHEREAS, Trevor Ball enlisted in the Michigan Army National Guard in 1991, graduated from Army Basic Training at Fort Dix, New Jersey, attended Advanced Individual Training at Fort Eustis as an aircraft armament missile systems repairer, then transitioned to the New York Air National Guard as a weapons systems technician in 1993; and

WHEREAS, Trevor Ball transferred to the Virginia Air National Guard in 1995 as a weapons system craftsman and subsequently served as weapons quality assurance inspector, weapons system supervisor, and wing weapons manager for the 192nd Maintenance Group at Joint Base Langley-Eustis in Hampton; and

WHEREAS, in May 2023, Trevor Ball was deployed as A4 senior enlisted leader and wing weapons manager with the 332nd Air Expeditionary Wing in Southwest Asia, where he served as a liaison to functional area senior enlisted leaders and provided experienced leadership to weapons personnel across five assigned aircraft weapons systems; and

WHEREAS, Trevor Ball recently returned to his former position as wing weapons manager of the 192nd Maintenance Group to complete an honorable and illustrious military career in service to the Commonwealth and the country; and

WHEREAS, Trevor Ball has worked with the AH-1F, UH-1, F-16C, and F-22A aircraft weapons systems in support of several military operations over the years, including Enduring Freedom, Iraqi Freedom, and Inherent Resolve; and

WHEREAS, Trevor Ball has honed his abilities by completing education programs for noncommissioned officers and aircraft specialists, in addition to earning an associate degree in aircraft armament systems technology from the Community College of the Air Force; and

WHEREAS, in recognition of his extraordinary service, Trevor Ball has been awarded the Meritorious Service Medal with one oak leaf cluster, the Air Force Commendation Medal, and the Air Force Achievement Medal; and

WHEREAS, in his civilian capacity, Trevor Ball serves as a product specialist and quality assurance supervisor at the Defense Logistics Agency, working tirelessly to support the nation’s global defense supply chain; and

WHEREAS, as a result of his exceptional dedication and determination, Trevor Ball has been a valued member of the Virginia Air National Guard for nearly three decades, earning the respect and esteem of all Virginians; now, therefore, be it

RESOLVED by the House of Delegates, That Chief Master Sergeant Trevor C. Ball, VANG, hereby be commended on the occasion of his retirement from the Virginia Air National Guard; and, be it

RESOLVED FURTHER, That the Clerk of the House of Delegates prepare a copy of this resolution for presentation to Chief Master Sergeant Trevor C. Ball, VANG, as an expression of the House of Delegates’ admiration for his service and best wishes in his future endeav24107621D
